BioMy name's Sophie, and I'm 13. I was born in America, in Maryland, but I've lived in Australia basically all my life. I moved to the UK a couple of years ago though, because my step-dad's english and when mum married him we moved here. I hated it at first, but I like Engand now. It's cute!
I've been wrting fanfic for...just over half a year, I think, and I love it! I started off with one fandom, Lost, and have progressed to 3 - Lost, Superman Returns and Lord Of The Rings. It's addictive! It's mostly because of my ships, of which I have many:
Lost - Shannon/Boone, Jack/Kate, Sawyer/Ana, Charlie/Claire
Superman Returns - Lois/Clark (duh?)
Lord Of The Rings - Aragorn/Arwen (they are so sweet together!), Eowyn/Faramir
It's really easy to get a new ship! I saw Superman Returns with a friend, and I just fell in love with Clois. They're my main ship at the moment, but I've been a hardcore Jater for over a year. I was looking up some Lost spoilers on the internet when I stumbled upon fanfiction, and i've been a Jate writer since. It was really quite by accident! I started off just reading, but then, of course, I wanted to write some of my own, and did. I started writing at jackandkate.org which is a great little Jate website, but its very small. I joined fanfiction.net a while ago and have since been very busy! I've only really written Jate fiction so far, but i'm working on some Clois fics and might eventually get around to writing some LOTR ones.
I do have a life besides fanfic, but its very small. lol. Fanfic takes up a big part of my happiness/time, but I do other stuff. While I write I generally listen to music, because it helps me think. I listen to rock, mostly, like My Chemical Romance, Lostprophets, Blnk 182, Green Day, Good Charlotte etc. but I'll listen to almost anything, so long as I like it.
I joined the air cadets, and its awesome (not to mention the cute flight sergeants!) and I'm in most of the school sports teams - x country, hockey, netball, rounders, swimming. I did piano for seven years, but I gave it up because it was boring me. I'm contemplating doing saxophone, but I haven't decided yet.
That's basically all there is to say about me. I did this thing in PSHE the other day, 'How Would You Describe Yourself In Five Words', and all I could come up with was: loud, bossy, short-tempered, hardworking, athletic (I know 'short-tempered' is two words, but thats besides the point). Basically the only things I care about is my writing and my sports. Oh, and my friends. I love them all to pieces, whether they're Australian or English.
